Bristol Academy

The Bristol Academy is NOT one of Mr Martin's training venues (see Bradley Stoke, Southville and Whitchurch), however, all Mr Martin's students will take their gradings (examinations) at the Bristol TaeKwon-Do Academy. The full address for the Bristol Academy is: 163a Church Road, Redfield, Bristol BS5 9LA.

The Bristol Academy is the head office not only of the TAGB, it is also the head office of TaeKwon-Do International. It is the venue for both local gradings and also all the TAGB Black Belt gradings for Great Britain.

Directions

To get to the Bristol TaeKwon-Do Academy; the academy is on the A420 signposted towards Kingswood and Hanham from the Lawrence Hill roundabout, it is on the left just past a pub - the Old Stilage and a “Miss Milly’s” chicken takeaway. If you get as far as Tesco’s, you have passed it by about 400 metres. The academy is a large white building, set back from the road, behind raised railings. There are large signboards identifying it.

Parking in the area is difficult!

Coloured belt gradings start at 6:30 pm, please aim to arrive by 6:00pm so you have time to warm up.
