Southville Classes

Classes are held every Tuesday and Friday at the Southville Community Centre, Beauley Road, Southville, Bristol BS3 1QG GPS: 51°26'36N 2°36'19W (see below for map and directions).

Southville is the newest of our clubs - it started up in 2002 and has grown to be one of our largest and most popular clubs. The club has a really good mix of men and women (and boys and girls!), plus a good age range, and now has a number of it's own 'home grown' black belts as well as those who visit regularly from the other clubs. Located in a young and vibrant community, the Southville club definitely has our most active social scene, with regular after training 'get togethers' (that's one way of describing them anyway!). We're a very friendly bunch and we love welcoming new beginners into the club.

Tuesdays: 4:30 - 5:40pm

Fridays: 5:00 - 6:00pm

Adults Classes (ages 13 - 73!)

Tuesdays: 5:50 - 7:00pm

Fridays: 6:10 - 7:25pm

How to find the Southville Community Centre

The Southville Centre is conveniently located only 10 minutes from the Centre of Bristol. From the Bedminster Bridge roundabout head along Coronation Road towards the Bristol City ground and Cumberland Basin. Beauley Road is after the pedestrian lights but before the rank of shops with the pub 'The Clipper' - there is a sign saying 'Community Centre' though it is not clear coming from the Bedminster roundabout direction. Once on Beauley Road, the Southville Centre is the last building on the top left of Beauley Road, before Stackpool Road. It's car park is between the Southville Centre and the church which is on Stackpool Road. Please ignore the position of the pin in the map below, the centre is not on Dalston Road, it is on Beauley Road.
