
The Sovereign TaeKwon-Do Open Championships for 2026 will be taking place on Saturday 10th October at The Deanery CE Academy School, Swindon.
The Sovereign Open is an open Taekwon-Do competition, welcoming competitors from all organisations and associations, provided they hold a current Taekwon-Do licence or eCard with their own organisation or National Governing Body.
Their aim is to provide a friendly, well-run and inclusive competition environment where students of all ages and grades can gain valuable experience, challenge themselves and enjoy competing alongside the wider Taekwon-Do community.
The event will include individual patterns and sparring, with categories for:
- Juniors – 4 to 12 years
- Cadets – 13 to 17 years
- Adults – 18 to 30 years
- Seniors – 31 years+

Doors open at 9.30am, with patterns starting at 10.00am. The event is run to the TCUK Kickmark Certified Standard and uses the TCUK Competition Rule Book.
Early Bird Entry: £30 per competitor
After 1st October: £35 per competitor
Closing Date: Thursday 8th October 2026
Spectator Entry: FREE
Entry includes both individual patterns and sparring.
