Due to the covid restrictions we have all faced, there will be no destruction at this grading.

Regarding theory; there will be theory asked at each grade. You will need to know the meanings of the pattern(s) of your grade. 1st Kups will be tested on Choong Moo and Dan grades will be asked the meaning of all three of the patterns of their grade. Patterns meanings will be available on our website at pages/syllabus and at Big tip: check that you know all the weight distributions of all the stances that you have been taught so far. Check that you know the names (in English) of all the attacking and blocking tools that you use! Don’t know? ASK!

You will need to be in a white dobok (black edging for black belts) TAGB doboks are acceptable, as well as the new Revolution Doboks. You also need to bring full sparring kit – please ensure this fits, and is in good condition. Mr Downer will be there doing his old job!

If you have any questions please speak to your instructor.
