Join Global TaeKwon-Do International for the 2025 GTI British Open Championships!
This competition is taking place on Sunday 30th November at the Cheltenham Leisure Centre (Leisure@Cheltenham), Tommy Taylors Lane, Cheltenham GL50 4RN.
All ITF-Style taekwondo clubs and associations are welcome to take part. Minimum rank of yellow-tag (9th kup) is required to participate.
Doors open at 9:00am for a prompt 9:30am start.
Events will include:
• Patterns
• Point-stop sparring (for yellow/green belt, 9th-5th kup, under 18s only)
• Continuous sparring (for all other juniors and all adults)
• Destruction (blue/red/black belt adults only).
We offer fully matted areas and high-quality medals, as well as:
• Junior categories separated by age group, as well as by height in sparring for age 13 and under, weight for age 14-17.
• Separate divisions for black belt veterans (where numbers allow, age 40+).
• Separate patterns categories for different black belt grades.
• Fair judging of sinewave and non-sinewave patterns.
• FREE entry for all spectators!
Cost:
£30 for non-GTI competitors (this fee applies to Bristol North & Bristol South TaeKwon-Do members)
£25 for GTI members
FREE for all spectators!

Insurance: Please note that Bristol North and Bristol South TaeKwon-Do members are also members of the TaeKwon-Do Council United Kingdom (TCUK) which provides your e-card/licences – this includes an amount of insurance including for external events such as this one, therefore you do NOT need to purchase any supplementary insurance to attend this event.
